April Lynch
I provide counseling for individuals of all ages who are dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and difficult life phase transitions. This includes couples who are having marital or relational difficulties. I am trained in and utilize play therapy to facilitate communication and self-understanding in children ages 3½ through 12. I make use of expressive art therapy and dream work to help people uncover and process deep-seated emotional issues. My overall orientation for both individual and couples work integrates an understanding of psychodynamic principles with newer relational models of psychotherapy and a deep appreciation of man’s spiritual needs and concerns.
